Today I'm just...sad. I love blogging. And Facebook. And commenting and having a voice. And I get 'freedom of speech' and all that - but again - because I know I've posted this before - if you don't have anything nice to say - shut your stupid mouth! To berate, belittle and HATE on someone for voicing their view about a blog is just.....SAD. I'm not going to call YOU names (but oh, how I want to), or berate YOU for your rant at me (minus the 'stupid mouth' comment). But unfortunately, what I am going to do is probably stop commenting, and ultimately, blogging altogether, which means once again losing my voice. Because I just don't have time for the hate. I am a positive, life loving person. I'm a lover, not a fighter. All I can do is hope that the sad, sad person that doesn't even KNOW me, that felt they needed to spew venom at me in print, finds some love someday. I send them light.....
My own blog will continue - whether anyone reads it or not. It seems to be the only place I can voice my opinion safely. So my task of the day - and I ask that it be yours as well...
Please don't hate. Do something kind for just one person. It will make both of you feel better, and be just a teeny tiny start in stopping the hatred that has become such a sad part of our world....
So out into the world I go....I wish happiness for all I meet today.

Wow that kinda makes me angry...you should have a right to speak your mind...last time I looked we were given that right here. I may not agree with everything you say but I will defend your right to say it. It seems we live in times were people cannot exchange ideas or opinions without the debate turning to hate...very sad. On a brighter note...I hope you have an awesome week! Keep your chin up and ignor the ignorance. Big hugs
It just really hurts my heart to think that people can and will be so mean. I have loved blogging because everyone I have met through this venue has been so kind, unlike the real world around me. I lost my job to some very vindictive people and when I found the blogging world, I was relieved to know that I had actually found kindhearted, nice, loving people that did not know me, but chose to be nice. It is a choice. One we make everyday when we wake up. I hope you can put it behind you. I know, all too well how hard it can be, but rest assured there are nice people out here in blogland that do not want to see you go. Have a great week!
I'm just thankful that the offender wasn't BEAD related. It's someone I CAN and will easily forget - hopefully by the time I wake up tomorrow. Unfortunately, there are those in the bead world that think it's ok to hurt too - just ask Lorelei. She's taken it on the chin and then some! But she's still bloggin', and designin', and I hope - feelin' the love from those of us around her. I felt some today, too, despite other matters - it's always good to have a dog to cuddle with, if ya got nothin' else! And of course - Thanks for your words and virtual hugs, girls - they are appreciated.
I don't understand why people even take the time to 'write' mean things! IGNORE THEM/IT!!!! I know my blog is just for me & my FRIENDS! If someone doesn't like what I write or create, then don't come to my blog! Geezzz Some folks just have to be mean..they were most likely the same person that bullied others in high school!! Like I said..IGNORE them..you can write whatever you like, whenever you want to. IT'S YOUR BLOG!! And we want to see you continue!!
